Looks like Yeeun recently had a close call!

On December 10, Yeeun (also known as HA:TFELT) posted on her personal Instagram a scary story that had happened to her. She wrote, “I was excited at the snow and went outside and almost had a bad experience… Suddenly a car had stopped and [the person inside] greeted me as if they were someone I knew and told me to get in. Don’t live like that, please… I almost got in without knowing what I was doing, seriously…”

In the hashtags, she wrote that the person also seemed to be driving drunk and that she regretted not reporting him, but had been too scared to even look at the license plates.

The post appears to since have been removed from her Instagram account.

Idols Who Debuted After Less Than A Year Of Training

The average training period for an idol is three to four years, with some idols even training for 10 years or more before they finally get to debut.

However, some idols have debuted with less than a year of training under their belt. Here are 14 idols who took less than a year to debut:

miss A’s Suzy

Suzy was scouted by a JYP recruiter on her way to the bathroom at an audition for Mnet’s “Superstar K.” After only 10 months of training, JYP deemed her singing and dancing strong enough to debut as the maknae of girl group miss A.

EXO’s Baekhyun and Chen

EXO’s main vocalists, Baekhyun and Chen, were accepted into SM Entertainment only three days apart from each other. Baekhyun was recruited at an audition for a music university, while Chen was recommended to the company by his vocal instructor. It took only four months of training for the two singers to debut with EXO.

GOT7’s Youngjae

Unlike his fellow members, who all had at least two years of training, Youngjae only trained for seven months before debuting as the lead singer of GOT7. He has shared that because his vocals were already strong when he was cast by JYP, he spent his seven months of training focusing only on improving his dancing skills.

KARD’s Jiwoo

Remarkably, Jiwoo recorded KARD’s first release, “Oh Nana,” the same day that she auditioned for DSP Entertainment. With her vocal abilities already honed through her major in classical music, the company deemed her immediately ready to join the group.

BIGBANG’s Seungri

BIGBANG’s youngest member joined the group after just 10 months of training. Although he nearly missed the cut on the group’s survival show, “BIGBANG Documentary,” he ultimately managed to persuade Yang Hyun Suk that he was ready for debut.

Apink’s Jung Eun Ji

Jung Eun Ji was cast only two months before Apink’s debut. Her audition reportedly impressed the company so much that they immediately decided to make her the group’s main vocalist.

Girl’s Day’s Yura

As a high school student, Yura received casting offers from 60 different agencies. She trained for only a month before joining Girl’s Day, which had already debuted a couple months prior.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and Ryeowook

Ryeowook joined Super Junior just weeks before the group’s official debut in 2005, with only two months of training under his belt. A year later, he ceded his spot as maknae to Kyuhyun, whom SM cast in 2006. Kyuhyun only spent three months in training before joining the group for their “U” comeback.

Wonder Girls’ Yeeun

Yeeun was cast by JYP on the reality show “MTV Wonder Girls,” in which the company holds auditions for the fifth and final member of the girl group. Because she immediately joined the group, she never underwent any training period at all.

VIXX’s Hyuk

Hyuk had trained for only three months before he appeared on the Mnet survival show “MyDol,” where he was chosen as one of the members of VIXX.

Lovelyz’s Yein

Yein had been pursuing a career in dance before an ankle injury in middle school forced her to quit. She then enrolled in a music academy, which helped her pass her audition for Woollim and debut with Lovelyz in just four months.

DAY6’s Dowoon

While his bandmates had trained for years under the name 5Live, DAY6’s drummer spent only a few months in training before he was added to the band for their debut in 2015.

Fashion Fever: Spotting Stars And Trends At The 2018 S/S Hera Seoul Fashion Week

Seoul Fashion Week has ended, but the fever still remains. Young crowds who gathered at the architectural wonder Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) not only went out to be seen in their head-turning gears, but also to anticipate the stars who attended the show.

What makes Korea’s fashion week so different is that most of the collections are highly influenced by streetwear, and unlike its counterparts in the West, the designers take inspiration from the people themselves. It’s not like the usual cycle of designers dictating trends to the masses. In fact, much of the designs are inspired from the youth, so you’ll notice that the looks are generally commercial and wearable.

This Spring/Summer 2018 season was no different. Street styles dominated the runways as well as stars’ closets. Celebrities gave us a glimpse of the upcoming trends, as they showed support for their favorite designers by wearing their clothes. It should be noted that in other fashion weeks, most stars and influencers visibly prefer couture and over-the-top looks; but here, they opted for more understated and minimal styles.

Here’s a rundown of celebrity sightings plus a peek inside as to what stars wore and which of them sat next to each other in the front rows:

Urban workwear

One of the most common looks seen this season was deconstructed workwear. Most stars were seen in low-key style staples like white button-down polo shirts, tailored suit jackets that were made casual, and structured outerwear. The office style never looked this effortless!

T-ara’s Hyomin wore a basic white polo cinched at the waist

Han Chae Young wearing a YCH dress which was made shorter to show off her legs that go on for miles

Actress Lee Sun Bin wearing a deconstructed trench coat and dress combo by Charm’s

Gong Minzy also wore Charm’s label

9MUSES’s SoJin and Hyemi came in matching gray plaid

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny in another Charm’s look with a suit jacket wrapped around her waist as a skirt

Long overcoats

Gong Hyo Jin is known for her cool, eccentric style, and she wore a reversible overcoat by Push Button. She’s actually a longtime close friend of the designers behind the label, and it’s the only show she attended this fashion week.

Who wore this YCH trench look better? Actress Lee Jeong An or Hyomin? Personally, I wish the celeb stylists coordinated better with the designers to avoid coming out with looks that are too similar, as you’ll see with other stars below.

AOA’s Yuna and Hyejung both wore different but equally chic coats

Weki Meki’s Kim Doyeon looked like a model in this Studio K look

B1A4’s Baro and Shinwoo also in Studio K

Sporty looks and sweaters

Rapper Jessi really knew how to work the cameras while she flaunted her assets in a bomber jacket and loose jersey trousers

Singer Hwangbo wore a sexy hip hop look topped with a tagged cap

Actress Lee Chung Ah revealed that she was a big fan of the brand Studio K before getting to know and becoming friends with the designer.

Kim Yoo Jung brightened the shows with her sweet smile and bubbly presence. She wore a matching blue plaid shirt dress and skirt from YCH and a black version of a Supercomma B sweater dress.

9MUSES’s Kyungri kept it simple and casual in a Supercomma B sweater and tennis skirt paired with sneaks.

The boys of NCT 127 look like they came straight out of a music video with this sporty and street mix.

SHINee’s Key in a cute sweater by Push Button

Actor Yoo Yeon Seok kept it easy and casual in a Supercomma B bomber jacket.

The “no-pants” look

Who better to wear the no-pants look than Hyorin? She showed off her toned gams in an oversized shirt dress with a high slit. On another day, she went bottomless in a striped sweater.

f(x)’s Luna looked sleek in a suit made into a dress.

See-through style

The cold Fall winds didn’t stop Lee Sun Bin from wearing this stylish YCH sheer dress worn over a pantsuit combo.

Actress Clara wore the sheer polka dot trend.

Speaking of Clara, she totally nailed this look with a wine-colored velvet jacket and a striped dress. Hardly anyone wore a strong color, but she pulled it off.

Structured blazers

Both Heize and HA:TFELT (Yeeun) wore a suit from Fleamadonna that had a corset and flare silhouette.

White and delicate

Kim Sejeong, Lee Da Hee, and Uhm Hyun Kyung chose a softer, more feminine look with white outfits.

Bonus: Front row friends

Sometimes it’s more interesting to watch the interactions and facial expressions of stars sitting in the front row as they study the designs.

Actresses Uhm Ji Won and Gong Hyo Jin looked like they were really having a great time.

This front row seemed to be specially reserved for top K-drama actresses.

Cheng Xiao (Cosmic Girls) and Hyomin

Jaekyung and HA:TFELT

It’s Lee Jong Suk and Yoon Kyun Sang! Not pictured are Key and PENTAGON’s E-Dawn, who also sat in this row.

Yeeun Opens Official HA:TFELT Social Media Accounts Ahead Of Upcoming Solo Comeback

Yeeun has taken one more step towards her upcoming solo comeback by opening official social media accounts for her activities as HA:TFELT!

The singer recently announced that she would be making her first solo comeback since leaving JYP Entertainment earlier this year, and that she aims to release an album in October.

On September 26, Yeeun took to her Instagram account to announce, “Ta-da! Official social media accounts for HA:TFELT and our staff have been opened. From now on, all news about my activities as HA:TFELT will be shared through these accounts. Please give your love and support for these accounts, where I hope to make many memories with you all.”

Kim Ji Min Denies That Yeeun And Jeong Jinwoon’s Breakup Was Influenced By Yeeun’s Father’s Alleged Scandal

On the June 5 episode of Channel A’s “Heard It Through the Grapevine,” the show broke the news that Yeeun’s father had allegedly embezzled money using his position as a pastor and his daughter’s status as a celebrity.

In the same episode, broadcaster and comedian Kim Ji Min expressed her surprise at a video of Yeeun’s father shown during the show, saying, “I’ve heard her father speak as a pastor but I’ve never heard him mention money.” Kim Ga Yeon said, “It’s acceptable to preach sermons about social issues, but not for the purposes of running a scam.”

Han Eun Jung said, “It’s a hard problem [for Yeeun] because it’s her father. You can sue someone for using you, but if your parents do it, then there’s no easy way out.”

Kim Ji Min, who is friends with Jeong Jinwoon, also responded to the rumor that his breakup with Yeeun was caused by the scandal.

“The two of them enjoyed their time together,” she said. “They suited each other well. They broke up because they felt the time had come to break up. But because of the timing, Jeong Jinwoon came to have a negative image. It’s not like he can date her again to avoid that kind of finger-pointing, but he feels for her.”
